Whew! It didn't take long for the NACRA Infusion F18 to dominate beachcat racing and take top honors in world championships.  Sure enough, club racers and speedsters wanted more. Morrelli & Melvin and the NACRA design team drew up a plan for the NACRA F20.

It's been three years since the NACRA Infusion F18 was introduced and for the past 18 months we've been in design, development and testing on the NACRA F20.  We've pushed the competitive envelope and tested beams, rigs, hulls and foils to produce the NACRA F20.  NACRA is taking orders for this take no prisoner's speedster.  Morrelli & Melvin's latest beach cat design collaboration will be on a beach near you in early 2010. 

Says Pete Melvin, a top-notch F18 sailor, "the optimized the hull shape benefits from a symbiotic relationship with the curved lifting foils, spray drag reduction that incorporates hard "release edges" to reduce wetted area, enhanced recovery from nose-dives promoted by the specially contoured foredeck, and advanced volume distribution that takes advantage of wave-piercing technology while enhancing longitudinal stability."  It's all good stuff and takes advantage of all of the technology breakthroughs that Morrelli & Melvin is working on with its variety of recreational, commercial and government clients.
