Since 1997, Morrelli & Melvin A-Class Catamaran designs have won two World Championsips and 11 North American Championships. The last six North Americans have been dominated by Morrelli & Melvin's A2 and now A3 designs. 2009 was no exception with the top two boats being A3's, and eight A3's in the top ten.
Lars Guck won the 2009 North Americans event easily. Matt Struble and Pete Melvin had a good battle for second. Lars' company, Guck, Inc. is now the builder of the A3 and Lars was sailing the prototype Guck-built Morrelli & Melvin A3. We look forward to working with Guck, Inc. in the future to continuously develop the world's best A-Class Catamaran.
